This will be Texas' fourth trip to the Conference Finals. In every previous instance (2010, 2014, 2018), the Stars have advanced to the Calder Cup Finals.

Texas has not played Abbotsford in its current iteration. The Heat, now the Calgary Wranglers after a few turns of the relocation crank, are the only Abbotsford-based team the Stars have played. The Canucks were relocated from Utica in 2021.
