For both, this seems like a change of scenery trade. Poirier has eclipsed 40 points in a full AHL season twice in Calgary but is on pace for barely double digits this season. He also has a gaudy minus-18 rating on a struggling Wranglers club that is in second-to-last place in the Pacific Division.
White has similarly struggled this year but does not have the track record of as much prior success as Poirier. He's on pace for just 11 points, which is the same high water mark he achieved in each of his last two AHL seasons.

Taylor-Krys
Bertucci-Kolyachonok
