100 Degree Hockey was founded in 2009, the inaugural year of the AHL's Texas Stars hockey club, the primary affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars. The site regularly covers both day-to-day transaction news, game day previews and postgame articles and also performs deeper analysis and in-depth player, staff and coach interviews.
Stephen Meserve, the writer and editor of 100 Degree Hockey, has been a credentialed member of the AHL media corps since the 2010 Calder Cup playoffs. In that time, he has performed hundreds of interviews and covered hundreds of American Hockey League games. Feature-length work by 100 Degree Hockey has appeared on TheAHL.com every season since 2012 and DallasStars.com.
