Pretty cut and dried here. Four game suspension for McMillan for punching a defenseless Mathieu Tousignant after the fight was over and the refs had already intervened. Good call by the AHL. Here's the release:
The American Hockey League today announced that Houston Aeros right wing Carson McMillan has been suspended for four (4) games as a result of his actions in a game at Texas on Jan. 6.
McMillan was assessed a match penalty under AHL Rule 21.1 for attempt to injure an opponent.
McMillan will miss Houston’s games tonight (Jan. 8) and Jan. 10 vs. Rockford, and Jan. 13 and Jan. 15 at Rockford.
