Dallas reassigns Peters to Texas

Warren Peters has been reassigned to Texas today surely with the expectation that either Brian Sutherby or Mike Ribeiro will return to the team on Tuesday. Here's the release:
The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has assigned center Warren Peters to the Texas Stars, Dallas’ primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Peters, 27, has skated in 11 games for Dallas this season, recording one goal with a +1 rating. Peters has played 34 games for Texas in 2009-10, recording 19 points (13g, 6a) and 21 penalty minutes. The 6-0, 198-pound center signed with Dallas as a free agent on July 6, 2009.

  2. Don't forget Lukowich. Any chance we will get him back from Vancouver?

  3. My understanding is Lukowich cleared waivers when he went back to Vancouver, so even when Bieksa is back on the ice he'll probably stay there. He's a good guy though, I like that he posts on the Stars' Facebook page :)

  4. Yea, Lukowich did clear waivers which means he likely isn't coming back.
