UPDATE: Dallas made this news official this afternoon.
The always newsworthy Mark Stepneski tweeted out the above this morning. Center Radek Faksa, Dallas's 2012 first round pick, is expected to join the Texas Stars this week. It seems like more of a black ace assignment on the face of it.
However, Texas could clinch the top seed in the conference tonight. Texas has done that in prior playoff years as well. If that happens, I would bet on the club resting key players and veterans this weekend. That means players like Jyrki Jokipakka, Curtis McKenzie and even Faksa could get significant ice time.
