Dallas Dev Camp Roster Features Several Texas Stars, Local Products

Each summer, the Stars host a development camp during the first week of July for the younger players in the system, including the new draft picks.

From Mark Stepneski's blog, here is the preliminary roster for the 2013 Dallas Stars Development Camp.

If you take a look, you'll see many of the players listed as not in the system are AHL contracts or likely AHL contracts for next season, including Brendan Ranford, Brock Montgomery and Etienne Boutet. Several of the others are local products, including Jake Fallon from Southlake and Matt Staples from Coppell.

Most on-ice sessions are open to the public. The schedule will be forthcoming.
