The parade down I-35 continues as defenseman Julius Honka and forward Gemel Smith were assigned today. The two both had notable camps but were never expected to crack the NHL lineup out of the gate this year. In Texas Stars news and notes, Texas has sent Zach Bell and Henri Kiviaho to Idaho this morning.
Justin Fontaine, signed on a PTO to Dallas last week, was also released.
