The Dallas Stars reassigned Roope Hintz to the Texas Stars this evening. Hintz took warmups but did not put him in the lineup. He was an emergency recall, and he was the 13th man. Since it was an emergency circumstance, the recall does not count against Dallas's four recall limit.

Here's the release:
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned forward Roope Hintz to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Hintz, 21, ranks fourth on Texas with 15 goals and is tied for fifth on the team with 27 points (15-12=27) in 55 AHL games this season. Hintz also ranks third on the team with five power play goals and is tied for fourth with two game-winning goals in 2017-18.

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Tampere, Finland was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (49th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
