Texas Stars Make No Moves on Quiet AHL Deadline Day

It was a very, very quiet market out there today for the entire AHL. The trade and transfer deadline came and went with, as of this moment, just two moves in the league. Texas GM Scott White confirmed to 100 Degree Hockey that Texas did not make any moves yet to be announced on deadline day.

Texas was on the hunt for a forward to bolster their depth, which has been painfully thin in the past few weeks. The return of Spencer Naas to Idaho today signals that at least one player is back in the lineup. With Travis Morin likely to play tomorrow after a bout of the flu this weekend and Denis Gurianov back as well, that's a lot of scoring to get back at once.
