Gameday Preview: Texas Stars at Milwaukee Admirals

Texas returns to Wisconsin to finish their four game road trip. Last time against the Ads, the Stars lost in the shootout. It was the last game Milwaukee played while Texas headed to Grand Rapids on Saturday night, losing a heartbreaker.

The four-game trip has been unkind. The Stars have just a single point, earned in Milwaukee. On the season, they've just got one regulation win as well, beating Grand Rapids 3-0 on Travis Morin night in Cedar Park. Things have been ticking up on the power play as Texas is now 18th in the league (5/34) as the PK continues to click along merrily (87.8%).

Without much more to say, the Stars just need the win. Preferably in regulation. Two points against a divisional foe and the ability to get back to .500 with it, will do a lot as the Stars come into a weekend against an unexpectedly strong San Antonio club. The Rampage have the number two scorer in the league on their roster in Nathan Walker. It seems like it continues to be true that the Stars and Rampage can never be good at the same time. The Stars, of course, hope that both can be good this season, because if only one is, right now it looks like it's the Rampage.
