Denis Gurianov didn't even play a home game on his stint with Texas before being recalled today by Dallas. With a game tomorrow in Columbus, Gurianov is likely to get into the game quickly. If things don't sort out, he could be back in Texas before their next game.

It's all up to him in terms of his performance tomorrow. Certainly his AHL stint, a hat trick and plus-2 rating in two games, was good enough to earn the recall.

Here's the release:
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled forward Denis Gurianov from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Gurianov, 22, has recorded five shots on goal and a +2 plus/minus rating in three NHL games with Dallas during the 2019-20 campaign. The forward has also logged three goals (3-0=3) and a +2 rating in two AHL games with Texas this season.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound native of Togliatti, Russia was originally selected by Dallas in the first round (12th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
