Texas started a new streak on Tuesday night against Iowa, winning back-to-back games for the first time since October 19th and earning just their second regulation win on the season. Turning two into three gets no easier this weekend as second-place Iowa stayed in Austin this week to face Texas again on Saturday. The challenge continues on Sunday as Milwaukee, currently top of the division, comes to town for a pair.

Things are likely to cool off a bit given the long gap between the games with the Wild, but that third period could have gotten out of hand on Tuesday and a set of back-to-backs probably would have led to some fisticuffs in the second game. Knowing at least the contours of the game against Iowa, it's smart to take a few minutes to check out what the Milwaukee Admirals have been up to recently.

Former Texas Stars Karl Taylor and Greg Rallo have the Ads positively humming. The club is riding an 11 game winning streak dating back to November 2nd. Additionally, they're 13-1 dating back to the last time these two teams played. Even if they lose to San Antonio on Saturday before playing Texas on Sunday, they'll be 13-2 in their last 15, an astonishing .867 win percentage.

The Ads have been helped along by the offensive talent of Daniel Carr and Yakov Trenin, both having 21 points each coming into the weekend. However, Carr is in Nashville, looking to help them pull up into playoff contention as the season winds along.

Milwaukee has also been blessed with fantastic goaltending. Troy Grosenick (7-1-2, 2.02 GAA, .932 SV%)) was phenomenal last year and is even better this season. He's also getting assistance in the form of Connor Ingram (8-2-1, 2.38 GAA, .926 SV%). Ingram and Grosenick are splitting starts perfectly evenly. If everything holds, Texas will get Ingram on Sunday and Grosenick on Tuesday.
