Here's the release:
The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced that Left Wing Anthony Louis has re-signed with the club on an AHL contract for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

Louis, 25, played 38 games with the Stars and recorded 20 points (9-11=20) after being acquired from Charlotte on Nov. 20, 2019. The winger was tied for fifth on the team in goals including four power play goals. Before transitioning to Cedar Park, Texas, Louis played eight games for the Checkers and net a goal.

The 5-foot-7, 165-pound skater from Winfield, Illinois has skated in three pro seasons in the AHL since 2017. Across 203 career games, Louis has earned 102 points (37-65=102) and 11 power play goals. He led Rockford in scoring as a rookie with 44 points (14-30=44) in 2017-18, helping the club to the Western Conference Final. Louis’ 30 assists that season ranked seventh among all AHL rookies.

The 2013 sixth-round selection by the Chicago Blackhawks made his pro debut on Mar. 17, 2017 following a four-year collegiate career at Miami University. From 2013 to 2017, he played 145 games, produced 126 points (46-80=126) for the RedHawks and served as alternate captain during his final season. Louis was a member of the United States National Team Development Program for two years before enrolling at his alma mater.
