Dallas Makes More Moves, Starting the Flow to Texas for AHL Training Camp

Dallas made move this morning to further cut their training camp roster after four preseason games. Texas expects to open their camp this week, so this move sets up the AHL side for the start of camp.

Overall, there aren't any major surprises here. I would argue that Matt Murray being assigned before Remi Poirier does say something about his overall stock in the organization, especially after the game against St. Louis on Saturday.

Everyone here on the ATO list will be in camp with Texas as an AHL deal. The PTO releases are mixed with McKenzie and Karow coming to Texas camp. There's no indication that Gibson or Jacob Murray will be joining Texas.

Among the players placed on waivers, all are expected in Texas if they clear. Remember that players do not have to be assigned immediately after clearing waivers. Clearing waivers just starts the clock to make them eligible for assignment.
