100 Degree Hockey Seeking Staff Writers for Coming Season

With the season fast approaching, it’s time to put out the annual call for staff writers here at 100 Degree Hockey. 

If you think you have what it takes to be a staff writer for us and provide unbiased, fair and well-written postgame stories, let me know. You do not need to be located in Austin to cover the team.

Former staff writers like Ryan Pennington would tell you that he had some incredible experiences as a result of working on the site. In addition to covering three seasons of AHL games from the press box, he also covered the NHL draft, NHL training camps, many NHL games, the 2018 Calder Cup Final run and the 2020 Winter Classic, and he would do it again if he had the time in his schedule to make it work.

It is a time commitment to be sure, but if you’re already watching the games, why not give us a ring? 100 Degree Hockey has been a credentialed source for Stars news for 15 years and you would have the chance to cover the team up close and write the story of the next generation of NHL talent.
