Goaltender Matt Climie in Game 7 versus the Chicago WolvesFan-favorite Matt Climie looks to be closer and closer to testing the free agent waters. Climie's agent, Scott Norton, had the following to say about negotiations thus far.
"At this point, I believe that Matt will wait for July 1 and test free agency. He would like to remain with Dallas, but to this point talks have not lead us to that."It seems like with Brent Krahn signing a two-way contract and Climie desiring a one-way, number 33 has been squeezed out of the equation in Dallas. With a deep post-season run on his resume, Climie will have the ability to demand some free agent interest. The question is how much.
