Philip Larsen, expected to be with Texas this year, scored a goal by jumping up on the rush. Tomas Vincour assisted on both of Dallas's goal and was on a line with centerman Gagnon.
Andrew Raycroft and Brent Krahn both allowed two goals a piece. Raycroft allowed two in 18 shots and Krahn in 13 shots. No clear frontrunner for the backup position.
